Halo: Campaign Evolved Cross-Progression
Missions, rally points, Skulls, Terminals, and achievements can sync through a linked Microsoft account.
Mid-mission checkpoints and exact player position do not sync. In co-op, the fireteam leader's progress controls selectable missions, rally points, and Skulls.

What follows your account
Halo Support identifies completed missions and rally points, Skulls, Terminals, and achievements as synced progression. Sign into the same linked Microsoft account on each supported platform.
- Verify the same Xbox Gamertag appears on both platforms.
- Finish a mission or reach a rally point before switching devices.
- Allow the platform to reconnect online and refresh the campaign menu.
What you must restart
A temporary mid-mission checkpoint and your exact position do not transfer. Resume from a synced mission or rally point instead of expecting the same room or encounter.
- End sessions after a durable progression point when possible.
- Note the mission and rally point before changing platforms.
- Do not delete local data while a cloud sync is pending.
Leader progress in co-op
The fireteam leader's campaign record determines what the lobby can select. Change leaders when the group needs access to a different mission, rally point, or Skull set.
Troubleshoot missing progress
First compare Gamertags, then check online status and recent completion. If two devices show different Microsoft identities, stop and resolve the account link before playing further.
